SUNDAY NIGHT

Al Michaels serves as the play-by-play announcer and Cris Collinsworth provides the color commentary for tonight’s N.Y Giants at Dallas game (5:20 p.m., Channel 4):

The stadium will be the star. Before I saw it, if you’d have asked me which stadium is tops on my list, I would have told you Seattle. But this place, there’s nothing like it. The video board itself is spectacular -- the resolution, it’s 60 yards long and seven stories high. I thought the board would overwhelm the stadium, but it doesn’t. It’s another enhancement. The signature of this stadium is going to be when you drive up to it the first time. What this looks like from the outside is phenomenal. It just looms.

The only thing the Cowboys didn’t do well is stop the run against Tampa. Can they now stop one of the better running games around? Brandon Jacobs is a monster out there. Nobody’s stepping up and volunteering to hit this guy. The easiest way on the road to shut down 100,000 screaming Cowboys fans is turn around and give it to Brandon Jacobs, let him run over a couple guys and see how loud they want to cheer then.
