Ole Ivar Lovaas obituary: In Friday’s LATExtra section, the obituary of Ole Ivar Lovaas, a UCLA psychology professor who pioneered one of the standard treatments for autism, said that one of his former graduate students went on to open the Center for Autism Research and Treatment. It is the Center for Autism and Related Disorders.

Hard Summer music festival: An article in Friday’s Calendar section about the Hard Summer music festival referred to “British beatmakers Soulwax.” Soulwax is a Belgian band.

“Katie the Curst”: A review of the play “Katie the Curst” in Friday’s Calendar section misspelled sound designer Peter Bayne’s name as Bayner.

Proposition 8: In Friday’s Section A, an article about Wednesday’s U.S. District Court ruling that overturned California’s ban on gay marriage and the measure’s potential fate in the U.S. Supreme Court said that Justice Anthony M. Kennedy wrote an opinion in 2007 striking down a Colorado ballot initiative that prohibited local governments from passing anti-discrimination ordinances based on sexual orientation. That ruling was in 1996.
