Though the sequence of events is strikingly similar to something you completed seven days ago, this is anything but a routine Monday morning. It just doesn’t feel the same -- you don’t feel the same. You have the sense of being brand-new and the hunch that something big is about to happen. The change that’s coming will indeed be a doozy.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). Whatever your age, you’ll feel that there’s a ship that has sailed and you forgot to board. Can you still get what you want at this late date? Stranger things have happened.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). There is a goal you’ve had on the books for what seems like forever. In spite of many failed attempts, it’s still there. You will crack this one eventually. Keep trying new methods.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). You wouldn’t treat a loved one as though he or she was a hired hand, and yet you may feel that someone else is treating you this way. Be honest in your reaction to this. Use humor to soften the dynamic.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). You push yourself hard. Someone around you will push you, too. In fact, you count on this person to do so. Reward those tough people around you by letting them share in your success.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). When you need help, whom do you think of first? That lineup is about to change as you realize that there are other people who could be of great assistance to you and who would love nothing better than for you to call upon them.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Increase your visibility. You cannot influence others if they don’t know about you. You deserve to be heard and paid attention to, especially now, when you have pertinent information to impart.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). You are picky. You won’t spend your time with just anyone. You will, however, give each person you meet ample chance to show you that he or she merits the gift of your full attention.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). You’ll meet someone new and instantly feel like you already know this person. There is an invisible connection between you, and it’s the sort of tie that defies description.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Though there is not a built-in reward system for the kind of work you are doing today, it certainly deserves some kind of acknowledgement. Give yourself credit for a job well done.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Get beyond the material, especially in regards to what and whom you can attract. There are physical laws that govern form. But most of what you are has nothing to do with form. Thus, the laws do not apply.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). You can now talk around the one who once had you tongue-tied. In fact, you give your thoughts just the right words, and right away others understand your point clearly.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). The day brings bits of psychic magic. You think something, and another person reacts to the thought, even though there is no way he or she could know what you were thinking.

TODAY’S BIRTHDAY (Dec. 6). There is a rebellious spirit in you. Should you buck the system or work with the authoritative powers around you in order to achieve your goals? You will try it different ways to suit the situation. Someone pursues you this month. Next month it is you doing the chasing. There’s a big win in January and June. Scorpio and Libra people adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 50, 2, 40, 21 and 17.

ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS: “What is the best way to get a Sagittarius to go to the gym? My husband is at least 50 pounds overweight, if not 100. I bought a gym membership, but he won’t use it. When we first got it, we would go together, but now I go alone because he always has an excuse. We have the money to get a personal trainer, but I’m not sure I want to do it unless he’ll really be motivated. What do you think?”

You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him walk on the treadmill. Of course, as a Sagittarius, your husband is only half horse. The other half is a full-grown man who can make his own decisions about his body and his time. I’m willing to bet that the more you harp on him the stronger he’ll dig in his heels and resist you. The best thing you can do is use the gym membership for your own pleasure and start loving your Sagittarius husband for all of his fantastic qualities -- his big heart, the way he embraces new things and his special way with people. He’ll get fit when it’s his decision to do so.

CELEBRITY PROFILES: Happy birthday to the Sagittarian who said, “I almost had a psychic girlfriend, but she left me before we met.” Comic visionary Steven Wright was born when the sun and Mercury were both in the sign of expansion and new worlds. His natal moon and Jupiter in Virgo, the sign of detail, indicates an analytical mind that will not rest as long as there are problems in the universe to be solved.
