Update: Jerime Anderson experienced soreness in his buttocks after falling on it during a charge in the second half against Montana State, but Howland said the junior guard should be OK to play Thursday. UC Irvine leads the Big West Conference in scoring at 75.8 points per game. Junior forward Eric Wise became the 20th Anteater to score 1,000 career points Saturday during a 76-69 loss to Pepperdine.
