Rhett Miller Miller’s latest self-titled album is another shiny entry into his solo catalog of well-tailored guitar-pop that’s like a martini to the whiskey-and-Bud of his day job in the Old 97’s. Jonas Wood The Los Angeles-based artist will unveil a new series of still-life paintings in his first one-person museum exhibition. The works are characterized by abstract and geometrical forms using bold colors and solid black, set against a monochromatic background. Opening Friday, the exhibit will run through May 9. Frederick Evans Marvel at the photographic mastery of one of the art form’s early practitioners. Evans began making photos in the 1880s and became known for his eye for architecture.
