Bobcats stay hot with rout of Suns
Stephen Jackson scored 29 points to surpass 10,000 for his career, Gerald Wallace had 29 points, and the Charlotte Bobcats continued one of their best stretches ever with a 125-99 rout of the Phoenix Suns on Saturday night.
Winning their fourth consecutive game and a team-record seventh straight at home, the Bobcats reached .500 at the latest point in team history. They are 19-19 and tied for sixth in the Eastern Conference.
The Suns have lost 10 of 11 on the road. Amare Stoudemire scored 19 and also reached 10,000 career points.
