Lobbyist e-mails: An article in the July 13 LATExtra section about lobbyist Susan McCabe said the Port of San Diego fired her over e-mails about “spoon feeding” a California coastal commissioner while attempting to secure his vote on a controversial project. In fact, her contract expired June 30, and port officials decided not to renew her contract after excerpts of the e-mails were published.

Los Angeles riots: Sandy Banks’ column in Saturday’s Section A referred to the 1964 Los Angeles riots. They occurred in 1965.

South Korean oil spill: A map accompanying an article in Saturday’s Section A about the effects of a 2007 oil spill in South Korea misidentified the Yellow Sea as the East China Sea.

Pres Romanillos obituary: A news obituary of animator Priscillano “Pres” Romanillos in Wednesday’s LATExtra section misspelled his wife Jeannine’s name as Jeanine.

“The Hills”: A caption under a photo that accompanied the Monitor column in the July 11 Calendar section misidentified Stephanie Pratt on the left and Lo Bosworth on the right. Their positions were reversed.

“Inception”: An article in Monday’s Calendar about the film “Inception” identified the maximum number of stars given by Chicago Tribune film critics as five. It is four.

Duets: Ann Powers’ Critic’s Notebook in Saturday’s Calendar on the current crop of male/female duets misidentified the name of the Katy Perry hit as “California Gurlz.” It’s called “California Gurls.”

Hotel gift shops: In Sunday’s Image section, an article about hotel gift shops going upscale said that Seaside Luxe manages projects in places such as Bermuda and Maui. Seaside Luxe does not operate in Bermuda.

Baseball memorial: An article in the July 12 LATExtra section about a new monument to honor Jack Norworth, who wrote the lyrics to “Take Me Out to the Ball Game,” incorrectly stated that the granite marker was 5 feet tall. The marker, installed at Melrose Abbey Memorial Park in Anaheim, is approximately 3 feet tall.
