Teen sailor: A photo caption in Friday’s LATExtra section that accompanied an article about teenage sailor Abby Sunderland said that Zac Sunderland was checking his phone for messages from his sister at sea. He was not checking for messages from his sister but from others.

Friday Wine Tasting: An article in Friday’s Calendar section about Barnsdall Art Park’s Friday Wine Tasting event said that purchasing a ticket included four flights of wine. It should have said that it included a four-glass flight of wine.

Artists and immigration law: An article in the June 2 Calendar section about artists’ reactions to Arizona’s anti-illegal immigration law did not fully describe the measure. The article said the law requires law enforcement officials to determine the status of people they suspect are illegal immigrants. The law applies only to people whom police have stopped for another reason.

Track and field: In Thursday’s Sports section, an item in the Day in Sports about the NCAA track and field championships in Eugene, Ore., failed to say what event Iowa State’s Lisa Koll won in 32 minutes, 49.35 seconds, followed by teammate Betsy Saina in 33:13.13. It was the women’s 10,000 meters.

“Lips Unsealed”: A review of Belinda Carlisle’s memoir “Lips Unsealed” in the June 3 Calendar section said that guitarist Jane Wiedlin left the Go-Go’s in 1983. She left in 1985. Also, the review may have given the impression that the Go-Go’s album “Beauty and the Beat” achieved double-platinum sales within a month of the release of the single “Our Lips Are Sealed” in 1981. It took several years to ring up those sales.

Home of the Week: The Home of the Week feature in the June 6 Business section on a Craftsman for sale in Pasadena misidentified the photographer of the exterior shot of the house. The photo was taken by Kristen Simental, not Chun Ming Huang.

Medicare bill: An article in Saturday’s Business section about a Medicare measure that would boost payments to doctors in some urban areas said Alpine County in California is near Oregon. It is near the Nevada border.

High school baseball: In the Southern Section baseball roundup in the June 6 Sports section, the nickname for the Glendora High School team was incorrect. It is the Tartans, not the Tartars.
