Right wing Justin Williams reported no ill effects following his return to the ice Friday after a 2 1/2-month absence because of a broken right ankle. He skated a little more than 12 minutes against Dallas and probably will get more ice time today. Also expected to play is goalie Jonathan Quick, who left the team for a game to be with wife, Jaclyn, for the birth of the couple’s first child. The Kings are 0-5-1 against Nashville the last two seasons, and the Predators desperately need another win to keep some distance between themselves and Calgary and Detroit in the battle for the conference’s final playoff berth. With 190 goals for and 196 goals given up, Nashville is the only team among the conference’s top eight with a negative goal differential.
