Update: Tonight’s game will be the last for Galaxy forwards Landon Donovan and Edson Buddle before they leave to join the U.S. team for its pre-World Cup camp at Princeton University. If both make the final roster of 23, they would be gone until, at the very earliest, the Galaxy’s July 4 home game against Seattle. If so, they would miss five league games and the May 23 friendly against Argentina’s Boca Juniors. Saturday’s game will also mark the return to Southern California of former Chivas USA coach Preki, who left in November to take charge of Toronto FC. Last season the Galaxy was 2-0 against Toronto.
