30 for 30: “Tim Richmond: To the Limit,” filmmaker Rory Karpf looks at the life and death of the NASCAR driver who contracted AIDS in the 1980s (5 p.m. ESPN and 8 p.m. ESPN2).

Making History: Filmmakers working on a low budget attempt to demonstrate how people of ancient times could have created the iconic structure Stonehenge in this new episode (6 and 9 p.m. National Geographic).

No Ordinary Family: While patrolling the park at night in pursuit of a mugger, Jim (Michael Chiklis) is mistaken for a vigilante, and Daphne (Kay Panabaker) uses her telepathic abilities to gain an invitation to a party in this new episode (8 p.m. ABC).

Nova: The season premiere recalls the Middle Ages, when architects constructed great Gothic cathedrals that have stood for centuries (8 p.m. KCET).

Frontline: The season premiere episode, “Death by Fire,” raises questions in the case of a man who was executed in 2004 for the arson deaths of his three children, new evidence raises doubts about whether he was guilty (9 p.m. KCET).

The Millionaire Matchmaker: Patti Stanger relocates her business to New York City in the season premiere (9 p.m. Bravo).

Dirty Jobs: Mike Rowe opens a new season by traveling to Texas to help out a ranch that breeds exotic animals, including lemurs, sloths, bearcats and camels. (9 p.m. Discovery).

Independent Lens: Meghan Eckman’s colorful documentary “The Parking Lot Movie” follows a bunch of overeducated parking lot attendants in Charlottesville, Va., who have been selected by the owner more for their personal philosophies than their work ethic in the season premiere of the documentary series (10 p.m. KCET).

SPECIALS

Scream 2010: This annual special pays homage to everything that is great about comics, fantasy, sci-fi and horror. Michael J. Fox, Elisabeth Shue and Lea Thompson are scheduled to appear to celebrate the 25th anniversary of “Back to the Future” (9 p.m. Spike).
