Weather anchor Garth Kemp relocates to Sherman Oaks

Channel 7 News weather anchor Garth Kemp has sold his home in a gated Moorpark community and bought another house in Sherman Oaks.
The Spanish Colonial home he sold went for $965,000. Kemp had purchased the five-bedroom, five-bathroom house in August 2011 for $899,000.
His new place is a 1962 remodeled ranch house with four bedrooms, three bathrooms and more than 2,300 square feet of space. The custom home was listed at $995,000.

Rick Chimienti of Prudential California Realty’s Beverly Hills office represented Garth in his sale and purchase. Paige Gordon of Keller Williams Realty represented the buyer of Kemp’s Moorpark home. Susan Jacobs of John Aaroe Group was the listing agent for the Sherman Oaks house.
