Now you can order movie tickets on your television set.

Fandango, the Los Angeles-based online ticketing service, said it will debut a new service that allows consumers to watch movie trailers and order tickets on Samsung Smart TVs.

Fandango’s high-definition movie trailers, embedded with ticketing features, will be built into the Movies & TV Shows panel, a video recommendation and discovery service offered on Samsung Smart TVs.

The service, unveiled at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this week, will launch in the first quarter.

“We are delighted to partner with Samsung as they continue to push the boundaries and benefits of the Smart TV experience,” Fandango President Paul Yanover said in a statement. “Fandango will be aggregating high-definition movie trailers so that consumers can gain instant access to the content they love while offering a simple way to purchase movie tickets in advance.”

The partnership is the latest between the two companies. In September, Fandango’s showtimes, ticketing, movie trailers and original movie preview show “Weekend Ticket” were integrated into Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3 devices as part of Samsung’s content recommendation service “Here and Now.”

Fandango is the nation’s largest online ticketing service, selling tickets to more than 22,000 screen nationwide. The company had a record year in 2013, fueled by a rapid growth in ticket sales across new technology and mobile platforms.
