Blake Lively inadvertently disses Taylor Swift, then gushes over her

Is Blake Lively going to be the newest member of Taylor Swift's ever-growing friend squad? Perhaps, if Lively's "Taylor Swift Please Be My Wife Voo Doo Doll" has anything to do with it.

The "Age of Adaline" star gushed over the "Style" songstress after one of her Instagram posts prompted fans to believe that there was bad blood between the women.

Spoiler alert: Not so.

Lively's sharing of a star-studded L'Oreal campaign portrait instigated the social media brouhaha. The image featured the 28-year-old actress and a bevy of pink-clad models and spokeswomen, including Naomi Watts, Julianne Moore, Eva Longoria and Swift's BFF, model Karlie Kloss, surrounding singer John Legend and a grand piano.

My #pinkobsession is exposed now Ok your turn. I won't tell! #AlsoTurnsOutJohnLegendIsntCoveringBadBlood Time to start a petition!"

The light-hearted post, which alluded to Swift's star-packed "Bad Blood" music video, was misconstrued by followers who pitted Lively against Swift. That didn't sit well with the actress, who chimed back in with a bit of humor Sunday to clear up any misconceptions.
