Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher announce arrival of their baby son

Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher are parents to a new baby boy -- and have been since last week!

“Tiny hands and tiny feet ... God has blessed us with an amazing gift!,” the new dad posted Tuesday on Facebook. “Isaiah Michael Fisher -- born February 27.”

He also shared a picture showing his tiny son’s left hand, with a bit of his face also visible. Kiddo’s a Pisces, just like his mom.

The same picture and message went up on Underwood’s Twitter account, earning the 31-year-old new mom tens of thousands of “favorites” in a couple of hours.

The couple used social media -- and their two pooches -- to announce the singer’s pregnancy last Labor Day.

Of course, there was a moment of confusion about whether a baby or a puppy was on the way when the shot of the dogs in pink and blue shirts first went up, leading hockey player Fisher, 34, to issue a quick yes-we’re-pregnant clarification.

So yeah, Ace, the black dog, was right about whether it would be a baby brother or baby sister. Or maybe the blue shirt just fit him better...
