Newlyweds George Lucas and Mellody Hobson welcome a baby girl

Filmmaker George Lucas and his new wife, Mellody Hobson, have welcomed a girl, born Friday.

Everest Hobson Lucas is the first biological child for both parties, who married on June 22 at Skywalker Ranch in Marin County, the Huffington Post reported.

The baby — like Jimmy Fallon’s new daughter, Winnie — was carried to term via gestational surrogate.

Lucas, 69, has three children via adoption: Amanda, 32, from a previous marriage to Marcia Griffin, and Katie, 25, and Jett, 20, whom Lucas adopted on his own.

The “Star Wars” creator and Hobson, 44, met in 2006 at a business conference. In addition to her position as president of Ariel Investments, she’s chairman of Dreamworks Animation and a financial contributor with CBS.

Lucas sold his production company, Lucasfilm, for a little more $4 billion to the Walt Disney Company last October.
