Kim Kardashian-Kanye West wedding: Bring on pictures, honeymoon

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are finally married -- but of course there are still more details to be had, including the first official pictures from the event and some details of their mini-honeymoon.

The pictures surfaced courtesy of E! Online, the entertainment website affiliated with the E! television network, which airs all things Kardashian, including the family’s hallmark show, “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”

The two photos, which can be seen in the video above, show the couple kissing in front of that wall of white flowers specially installed at the Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy, and then walking down the aisle hand-in-hand, with daughter North West looking on from grandma Kris Jenner’s arms.

Kanye, incidentally, gave an intense 20-minute speech at the wedding reception, calling the Kardashians “the most remarkable people of our time” as well as an “industry” that could “make the world a better place,” according to an E! News source. His bride was the “ideal celebrity,” he said, in addition to being “ideal art.”

An additional photo on the E! website is from Kim’s final wedding-gown fitting at the house of Givenchy and shows the reality-TV diva from behind, dramatically posed with her arms outstretched and her train and long veil formally arranged behind her. The star of the shot is clearly her famous backside.

Kim also posted the first two shots on her Instagram page on Tuesday.

Speaking of Instagram, Khloe Kardashian posted a black-and-white shot of the newlyweds in black leather jackets that said “Just Married.” Other black-and-whites were making their way online thanks to a photo booth at the Saturday shindig.

Kim, 33, and Kanye, 36, are believed to be taking a mini-honeymoon in Ireland before jetting back to L.A. on Friday, the Irish Independent said. They’re reportedly staying at the five-star Castlemartyr Resort.

This vacation is adults-only, it seems: Baby daughter North, 11 months old, was spotted with grandma Kris leaving Florence for L.A. on Sunday.

There was one glitch in the wedding festivities: Kim’s brother Rob Kardashian headed for home a day early, arriving at Los Angeles International Airport on Saturday. He apparently never even made the trip from Paris to Florence with the rest of the gang, instead booking a late-night flight back to SoCal from the City of Light.

At issue? Perhaps Rob’s discomfort with his appearance, according to TMZ, which cited sources claiming he refused to be in family pictures despite encouragement from the rest of the clan. Most comments on a TMZ video of him arriving at LAX -- avoiding cameras as best he could -- were supportive and along the lines of “Leave Rob alone.”

After deleting all of his recent tweets, as he’s been known to do, Rob spoke out Monday in honor of Memorial Day with a series of religiously tinged holiday posts followed by birthday wishes for Scott Disick, his sister Kourtney Kardashian’s boyfriend and father of her two children.
