SHOWBIZ 7’s: Mandy Moore’s top crossover stars

Mandy Moore started her career as a teen pop singer, successfully morphed into a movie star and television actress, and has just turned back into a singer again. This week she releases her new album, “Wild Hope.”

“I went back to music because I didn’t have to,” she said, her voice all cheerful and sparkly on the phone. “I wouldn’t be as passionate about it if somebody made me make this choice.”
