90210: In this new episode Haley Reinhart (herself) offers Dixon (Tristan Wilds) a chance to play backup. He accepts but doesn’t tell Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) about the gig or his record deal because the label turned her down (8 p.m. KTLA).

Dancing With the Stars: The first of two new episodes brings viewers up-to-date on the competition series’ season so far (8 p.m. ABC). That’s followed at 9 by this week’s regular episode.

Ringer: Bridget (Sarah Michelle Gellar) comes to the conclusion that she must testify against Bodaway Macawi (Zahn McClarnon) if she’s going to feel safe again. Ioan Gruffudd also stars in this new episode (9 p.m. KTLA).

New Girl: Jess’ (Zooey Deschanel) date with Russell (Dermot Mulroney ) does not go well in this new episode (9 p.m. Fox).

Top Gear: In this new episode co-host Rutledge Wood enters a championship race (9 p.m. History).

19 Kids and Counting: Michelle and Jim Bob go to an ultrasound appointment in the season premiere (9 p.m. TLC).

Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best? The unscripted series ends its season (9 p.m. WE).

Body of Proof: When a mysterious illness starts claiming lives in the city, Megan (Dana Delany) and her team must join forces with an officer from the Centers for Disease Control (Luke Perry) to find the cause in this new episode (10 p.m. ABC).

Frontline: This new episode chronicles the recent events that have rocked Rupert Murdoch’s media empire, as allegations of bribery, blackmail and phone hacking have spurred investigations in both the U.K. and North America (10 p.m. KOCE).

16 and Pregnant: The unscripted series returns for a new season (10 p.m. MTV).

Women’s college basketball: NCAA regional finals (4 and 6 p.m. ESPN).
