Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez call it quits

Looks like Justin Bieber needs somebody else to love -- a report says he and girlfriend Selena Gomez have split.
Rumors have plagued the young pair for months, suggesting a growing distance as both of their demanding careers kept them apart. That reportedly checks out.

“Because of their crazy schedules, it was getting harder and harder to maintain a relationship,” a source told E! News’ Marc Malkin.
It seemed like only yesterday the Ministry spotted them bouncing around the 2011 Vanity Fair Oscar party, going public with a romance that sent their respective fan bases into a frenzy and significantly raised their profiles.
The courtship saw premiere dates, tropical getaways and splashy romantic gestures. Reps for both did not immediately return requests for comment.
Bieber is currently touring North America. Gomez will be seen in next year’s Harmony Korine film “Spring Breakers” opposite James Franco.
