Elevator Repair Service’s ‘Gatz’ heads to REDCAT

The New York City-based ensemble theater company Elevator Repair Service brings its epic show “Gatz” to Los Angeles. Set in a faceless office, “Gatz” is a word-for-word presentation of the experience of reading the entirety of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic novel “The Great Gatsby.” Over the course of almost seven hours the story of the book unfolds as the participants in its telling slowly become transformed by it.
