Melissa Gilbert marries Timothy Busfield, bride wears red
Melissa Gilbert and Timothy Busfield can now settle down in their own little house on the prairie. The two are officially married.
Gilbert and Busfield became husband and wife “in a private ceremony at San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara on April 24,” her rep confirmed to Us Weekly and People.
And the bride wore: red! If you’re interested, the groom wore ... a tux!
So why the scarlet hue? Well, it’s the third marriage for Gilbert, a “Little House on the Prairie” and “Dancing With the Stars” alum. Gilbert, 48, was previously married to Bo Brinkman and Bruce Boxleitner and has two children from the previous unions.
It’s the third marriage also for Busfield, 55. The TV director and “thirtysomething” actor has three children from his previous marriages.
The two, who revealed their holiday engagement in January, are said to have crossed paths on and off for 20 years.
