Country star Trace Adkins has entered rehab after an alleged confrontation with a Trace Adkins impersonator aboard a cruise ship, according to reports.

According to ABC News and other outlets, the 52-year-old singer was aboard the Norwegian Pearl, headlining a seven-day country-themed concert cruise with fellow stars Montgomery Gentry and Wynona Judd. On Monday, in a bar on the ship, he overheard an Adkins impersonator performing karaoke to one of his singles, and a fight broke out, according to TMZ. A representative for Adkins confirmed to ABC News that the singer had disembarked the ship on docking in Jamaica and that he had immediately re-entered rehab.

Adkins, who had struggled with alcohol in the past, had been sober for 12 years after completing a previous stint in rehab in 2002.

On the first day of the cruise, Adkins had tweeted, “Up here in my suite, overlooking the pools. Behave yourselves.”

The cruise will continue without Adkins as a headliner.
