Here’s Madonna singing ‘Holiday,’ banging cowbell on Jimmy Fallon

You gotta hand it to her: Madonna knows how to be ubiquitous. From the Brit Awards to the iHeart Radio stage to even Meerkat (R.I.P.), the Queen of Pop has made herself visible on seemingly all screens since the release of her 13th album, “Rebel Heart,” last month.

Thursday night she popped up on “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon” decked out in fishnets and gangsta rap chains (one of which just said HARD in all-caps comic book font) as both couch guest and performer. During the broadcast, the self-described “closet comedian” tried her hand at stand-up comedy in a mini-set that included jokes about how precious younger men can be. (Bravo, Madge.)

But the real show came after the broadcast with the below online exclusive, the latest in Fallon and the Roots’ twee-ify-the-hits video series. Behold Madonna and her makeshift band playing her hit “Holiday” on toy xylophones, melodicas, bongos ... and of course, more cowbell. It’s kind of adorable, actually -- the type of performance that makes you wonder why no one called the Muppets’ agent.
