Mariah Carey karaokes with James Corden, somehow remembers the words to ‘Thirsty’
For his new “Late Late Show” on CBS, James Corden got Mariah Carey to drive around Los Angeles and sing along with some of her music.
There’s a video of their encounter, of course, and it’s reasonably fun.
Here are two important takeaways:
1. Mariah Carey might be the only person on Earth who remembers the words to “Thirsty,” a lowlight from last year’s “Me. I Am Mariah... the Elusive Chanteuse.”
2. In addition to asking if New York, Brooklyn, uptown, Shaolin and Boogie Down are in the house, Ol’ Dirty Bastard gave a shout-out Sacramento in his intro to the remix of 1995’s “Fantasy.”
Sacramento! We’d totally forgotten about that bit of comic gold.
