Mick Jagger, the man who once said he couldn’t envision singing “Satisfaction” after he hit 30, turned 70 on July 26, and in conjunction with that birthday milestone, the Rolling Stones’ official video portal has posted a new video showing the group’s lead singer through the years.

Set to their 1980 hit “Emotional Rescue” -- what, no “Dead Flowers”? -- the nearly 5-minute clip edits together dozens of Jagger performances from across the years.

TIMELINE: Summer’s must see concerts

It practically invites fans to offer suggestions for other songs that might have been befitting of the occasion. A few thoughts from Pop & Hiss: “Not Fade Away,” “Time Is on My Side,” “Start Me Up,” “Mixed Emotions.”
