WWE superstar Sheamus discusses SummerSlam

Recently, Hannah Mitchell, the 11-year-old daughter of Show Tracker’s “Monday Night Raw” recapper Houston Mitchell, was able to interview some WWE superstars about this Sunday’s pay-per-view event, SummerSlam. Here is the interview conducted with Sheamus.

Q: It seems that not long ago people were booing you, but now you are getting cheered. Which do you prefer?

Sheamus: It’s always good to get cheered. It’s always good for people to like you, but as long as people react to you coming out, whether they are booing you or cheering you, it’s great. What you don’t want is to walk out there and hear crickets because no one is reacting to you at all.

Q: Who was your favorite person to face in the ring?

Sheamus: Right now it would have to be a toss-up between Alberto Del Rio and Daniel Bryan. I’m in a feud with Alberto Del Rio right now, and we are having some good matches and myself and Daniel Bryan have a lot of history too, with matches for the U.S. title and the world heavyweight championship.

Q: If you could take any wrestler in history and face them in the main event of SummerSlam, who would you pick?

Sheamus: I would love to face the Million Dollar Man, Ted DiBiase. He is one of my favorites of all time. He was really, really good. A really great villain.

Note: Thousands of WWE fans from around the world will converge on the Nokia Plaza at L.A Live for SummerSlam Axxess beginning Saturday at 11 a.m., and WWE SummerSlam airs live on pay-per-view this Sunday from the Staples Center. Tickets are available at www.ticketmaster.com.
