The Bachelorette: Emily and the three remaining bachelors travel to the Caribbean island of Curaçao (8 p.m. ABC).

American Ninja Warrior: The competitors begin the first stage of the final course in this new episode (9 p.m. NBC).

Gene Simmons Family Jewels: In the first of three new episodes Shannon volunteers at a VA hospital, then poses for a pinup to raise money for veterans while Gene performs with vets at a benefit concert (9 p.m. A&E). Then at 9:30, Shannon worries about Gene’s fidelity as he plans a new tour and at 10 p.m. Gene seeks help from Dr. Wexler, while on tour in South America.

Bunheads: Michelle (Sutton Foster) makes a change in her living arrangements to give her some distance from Fanny (Kelly Bishop), who’s preoccupied with getting ready to host a ballet company’s auditions for its summer program. Kaitlyn Jenkins also stars in this new episode (9 p.m. ABC Family).

Opening Act: This new unscripted series from producer Nigel Lythgoe explores the drama and competition among musicians hoping or their big break (10 p.m. E!).

Perception: In this new series an eccentric neuroscience professor (Eric McCormack) is recruited by the FBI to help solve complex cases using his intimate knowledge of human behavior and masterful understanding of the way the mind works. Rachael Leigh Cook, Arjay Smith and Kelly Rowan also star (10 p.m. TNT).

SPECIALS

Bizarre Foods Celebrates 100: Chef, writer and culinary adventurer Andrew Zimmern and the crew recount memorable moments from the past six years (8 p.m. Travel). The season premiere of “Bizarre Foods America,” which samples the unusual and excessive cuisine of Las Vegas, follows at 9 p.m.

Hard Times: Lost on Long Island: In this 2011 documentary filmmaker Marc Levin examines how the weak economy and long-term unemployment impact the lives of four families (9 p.m. HBO).
