Big Bird, look out! Ann Romney is coming to morning television.
The wife of Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney will co-host "Good Morning America" on Oct. 10, subbing for anchor Robin Roberts, a spokesperson for the show confirmed. She'll be joined by co-anchor George Stephanopoulos and the rest of the "GMA" team.
News of Romney's co-hosting duties follows her husband's strong performance in the first presidential debate, in which his comments on PBS, specifically Big Bird, sparked a social media firestorm.
Ann will appear on the morning talker during the 8 o'clock hour. Other guest co-hosts that have been tapped to fill in for Roberts, on medical leave, include Oprah Winfrey and the cast of "Modern Family."
