30 Rock: The political posturing continues in this new episode, as Liz and Jack (Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin) realize that Jenna (Jane Krakowski) and her fan base could tip the scales in the election (8 p.m. NBC).

The Vampire Diaries: Damon (Ian Somerhalder) joins Elena and Bonnie (Nina Dobrev, Kat Graham) on a visit to Whitmore College, where a new professor (David Alpay) has taken over the occult studies class Bonnie’s grandmother taught in this new episode (8 p.m. KTLA).

Beauty and the Beast: Cat and Tess (Kristin Kreuk, Nina Lisandrello) investigate an attack on a young man left for dead in a trash bin and Silverfox (Peter Outerbridge) offers Cat information about her mother in exchange for Vincent (Jay Ryan) in this new episode (9 p.m. KTLA).

Project Runway All Stars: In the new episode “Put on Your Dancing Shoes,” the designers are challenged to re-create a 1970s disco look with a modern sensibility, using shoes from Nine West as inspiration (9 p.m. Lifetime).

Parks and Recreation: Jonathan Banks and Glenne Headly guest star as Ben’s (Adam Scott) divorced parents, who are about to meet a very nervous Leslie (Amy Poehler) for the first time (9:30 p.m. NBC).

The 46th Annual CMA Awards: Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood return to co-host this year’s awards. Eric Church leads the pack with five nominations; Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton have four nominations each. Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Kelly Clarkson, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and Little Big Town are among the scheduled performers (8 p.m. ABC).
