Comedy Central has no plans to go outside the Amy Schumer business. The cable network has renewed the comedian’s series “Inside Amy Schumer” for a second season.

Schumer sent out a (crass-free) tweet of the news Monday night. Opting for a more colorful statement in the network’s official release:

“I am so proud of our show,” she said in the statement. “And ecstatic to get to work with all these a-holes again.”

The series scouts topics revolving around sex, relationships and life’s other mysteries through scripted vignettes, stand-up bits and man-on-the-street interviews. Its second outing will consist of ten episodes and is set to make people squirm in 2014.

Kent Alterman, the network’s president of content development and original programming, gave a less-is-more boost of encouragement in the network’s release.

“Amy Schumer,” said Alterman. “She’s hilarious. I also love her comedy.”

The series, currently in the middle of its first season, premiered strong in April -- ranking as the male-skewed network’s top premiere of 2013 with 1.6 million viewers.

Schumer is a member of the network’s comedian rat pack. The network previously announced it was renewing “The Jeselnik Offensive,” “Kroll Show” and “Nathan For You” for second seasons.
