The Bride Wore Black Francois Truffaut’s dark and stylish 1968 French thriller stars Jeanne Moreau as a young bride who swears revenge on the five men who made her a widow on her wedding day, tracking down and killing each of them using a variety of methods. Michel Bouquet, Jean-Claude Brialy, Charles Denner and Michael Lonsdale also star and Bernard Herrmann composed the score. 5 p.m. TCM

Traffic Director Steven Soderbergh, screenwriter Stephen Gaghan and co-star Benicio Del Toro all won Oscars for this engrossing 2000 drama about the international narcotics trade. Catherine Zeta-Jones, Michael Douglas and Don Cheadle also star. 8 p.m. Showtime
