Harry Hamlin and Lisa Rinna propose a ‘Titans’-themed sex tape name

Harry Hamlin and Lisa Rinna stopped by Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” on Wednesday night and talked about a variety of topics, including how they’ve managed to stay married in Hollywood for 21 years. But during the “after show” online, they got to talking about Hamlin’s rejuvenated career thanks to “Mad Men” and also proposed a title for any possible sex tape they would make.

The question, a classy one to be sure, came from a caller. But Hamlin was right there to suggest the title most anyone familiar with Hamlin’s career would have shouted immediately.

“The Kraken Has Been Released,” Hamlin suggested.

For those unfamiliar with Hamlin before his Emmy-nominated run as Jim Cutler on “Mad Men,” he was once an international star for playing Perseus in the 1981 film “Clash of the Titans,” which was the final film to feature visual effects from stop-motion master Ray Harryhausen. Among Harryhausen’s creations for the film was the monstrous Kraken, which destroys the city of Argos in the film.

While Hamlin and Rinna’s sex tape wouldn’t feature any Harryhausen stop-motion work, the implications are clear. “Watch What Happens” host Andy Cohen suggested “Lips” while Rinna offered the half-hearted “Harry Does Lisa.”

No matter what the hypothetical title could be, Hamlin was quick to inform viewers: “There will not be a sex tape.”
