Teresa Giudice tells Andy Cohen about her fears for prison

“Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice is no stranger to Bravo’s talk show “Watch What Happens Live”; she’s been a guest five times before, but her appearance Monday night was radically different.

Instead of dishing on upcoming episodes of the Bravo hit, the reality star and her husband, Joe, were understandably muted. On Thursday, the Giudices were sentenced to prison terms after pleading guilty in March to several fraud and conspiracy charges.

Teresa was given 15 months in jail, beginning in January, and Joe was sentenced to 41 months, but will serve his time after Teresa is released to allow for continuous care for their daughters.

“I was so nervous yesterday, that I was shaking,” she told host Andy Cohen. “My nerves were pulling. At one point I couldn’t even move my fingers. I couldn’t open my hands. My nerves were shot.”

The interview on Monday was the first of a two-part discussion with the couple. Cohen focused on their reaction to the sentencing and how it will affect their children.

Teresa Guidice said that when thinking about her fears for prison, “I just think about my daughters .... I just want to make sure my daughters are OK. That’s all I want.”

She said husband Joe vowed to visit her twice a week, but she said that was unrealistic. “Just make sure you come once a week,” she said.
