Americana at Brand, Grove look for holiday workers

It’s Oct. 1, so of course it’s time to think about the holidays.

Caruso Affiliated, which operates the Americana at Brand and the Grove shopping malls, is doing just that with job fairs Wednesday and Thursday looking for seasonal help to work as Santa House helpers or concierge ambassadors. Qualifications include having an outstanding personality and top-notch customer service skills.

The job fairs are planned from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the park at the Grove, 101 The Grove Drive, Los Angeles, and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday in the community room at the Americana at Brand, 889 Americana Way, Glendale.

Meanwhile retailers all over Southern California have announced they are hiring more holiday workers than they did last year, so if you’re thinking about looking for a holiday job, now seems like the time to get started.
