COS pops up at Opening Ceremony L.A.

Los Angeles Times Fashion Critic

COS, the London-based, minimalist-meets-cheap chic brand owned by the same parent company as H&M, has long been a must-shop for fashion editors traveling in Europe.

The airy shirt dresses, voluminous shirts, boxy jackets and functional-sleek accessories appeal to fans of Marni and Celine, but with prices at less than $300.

In a run up to opening its own stores in the U.S., the brand is popping up at Opening Ceremony stores this season, with an edited selection of goods available now.

COS will open its first store in L.A. on North Beverly Drive later this year and another in SoHo.

COS at Opening Ceremony, 451 N. La Cienega Blvd., West Hollywood, (310) 652-1120.
