Everything But Water opens in Brentwood

Just in time for warmer weather, Everything But Water has opened a new shop in Brentwood.

The 1,200-square-foot store is at 220 26th St., Suite 102, Santa Monica, right across from Brentwood Country Mart. It’s the 74th U.S. store for the retailer, which carries resort wear and swimwear and accessories from a wide variety of brands and designers.

A grand-opening celebration with music and beverages from Pressed Juicery is planned from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday. Regular store hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Pop-upsTo celebrate its 40th anniversary, vintage and used clothing purveyor Buffalo Exchange is touring the country in a 1969 Airstream trailer pop-up shop. The boutique on wheels is scheduled to make stops in Southern California in the next few days. The itinerary includes Sherman Oaks on Saturday, Los Angeles on Sunday, Santa Monica on Monday and various Orange County locations May 13 to 15. Hatch, the online collection of chic maternity (and beyond) wardrobe essentials, is opening a pop-up shop from Friday through May 26 at 8377 W. 3rd St., Los Angeles. Shop hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Early shoppers will receive a curated tote of goodies with purchase, while supplies last.

Naked Princess, a luxury lingerie collection, is opening a flagship boutique at noon Saturday at 653 N. La Cienega Blvd., Los Angeles (across from Fig & Olive). The lingerie, made of materials including silks, French Leaver lace and Chantilly lace, is all made in L.A. The boutique include atelier services for brides and bridal parties.

Barneys at the Grove suggests getting an early jump on Mother’s Day with “beauty, baubles and bubbles” on Saturday The store is offering a complimentary makeup session, a meet-and-greet with jewelry designer Loren Stewart and Bellinis from 1 to 3 p.m. The Grove is at 189 The Grove Drive, Los Angeles.

Sunset Plaza Beauty Boutique and Movimento apparel are teaming on Saturday to present “All Things Girly,” featuring 10% off the former’s beauty products and wholesale pricing on the latter’s apparel. Guests are to receive goody bags with products by Bumble & Bumble, Peter Thomas Roth, Dermatalogica, Murad and more. Tickets are on sale for Super Saturday, a daylong designer sale to benefit the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. Celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe, actress Molly Sims and their families are to host the event, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 17 at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica. The event will also feature a full lunch buffet, auction, pet park for four-legged guests, a luxury raffle and more. Tickets are $250 for general admission, $100 for entry after 1 p.m., $50 for kids ages 6 to 16 years (kids under 6 free) and $20 per pup. Trunk shows

The Farmer’s Daughter Hotel plans a poolside trunk show featuring Los Angeles designers from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday. The show is being held in tandem with the opening of the hotel’s new pop-up boutique, Shop. Featured designers include Kim White, Lotta Stensson, Joann Smyth, Cameo and Susane Karlsson Sweden.
