Super-soft palm-tree-print sweat pants? Check. A relaxed, boyfriend-style “La Mer” T-shirt? Check. Easy summer living? Yes, please.

L.A.-based lifestyle brand Sundry is teaming up with J. Crew on a six-piece capsule collection debuting online today, just in time for sun ’n’ sand season.

The capsule includes deep-sea blue palm-print sweat pants and shorts, and four T-shirts, all of which are priced $68 to $106, and all which fit into the current fashion craze for stylish active wear, which I wrote about last month.

Sundry was founded in 2012 by French expat Matthieu Le Blan, who now lives in L.A.’s Venice neighborhood. The brand, which is sold at Barneys New York, Intermix and ShopBop.com, fuses his French roots with SoCal style and is made in the U.S.

Le Blan said he took inspiration for the pieces from the sea, and that the tees and sweats “can take you from a day at the beach to a casual evening gathering with friends.”

(I especially like the T-shirt emblazoned with the names of seaside destinations around the globe, including Sayulita, Montauk, Cannes and Malibu.)

For the capsule, the silhouettes and color combinations were designed exclusively for J. Crew. The collection is also available at select J. Crew stores.
