Julianne Moore, Reese Witherspoon among Oscar nominees

Oscar nominations were announced early Thursday morning. The list for lead actress, unsurprisingly, included these women we’ve been seeing on red carpets: Golden Globe winner Julianne Moore in “Still Alice,” Rosamund Pike in “Gone Girl,” Reese Witherspoon in “Wild,” Marion Cotillard in “Two Days, One Night” and Felicity Jones in “The Theory of Everything.” See the complete list of nominees here and more about this year’s Oscar race here.

Target plans to close all 133 of its stores in Canada. The retailer expanded into Canada less than two years ago, but decided to pull the plug because it looked as though the venture wouldn’t be profitable before 2021 at the earliest, according to a statement from Brian Cornell, the company’s chairman and CEO.
