Television personality and actress Maria Menounos is scheduled to meet fans and sign copies of her latest book at the Trina Turk boutique on Wednesday.

The book, “The EveryGirl’s Guide to Diet and Fitness,” has the intriguing subtitle: “How I lost 40 Pounds and Kept It Off -- and How You Can Too.” Inside readers will find the “Extra!” co-host’s plan for quick weight loss, guide for lifelong health, recipes, workouts and more.

The first 200 guests will receive a free copy of the book. Light bites and beverages from the host, Hint Water, will be served. The event is scheduled from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Trina Turk, 8008 W. 3rd St., Los Angeles.

Designer Maria Cornejo will be on hand to meet the public and introduce her new collection from 1 to 5 p.m. Monday at the Zero + Maria Cornejo boutique at 8408 Melrose Place, Los Angeles.

The Motley men’s grooming company is offering dads and families complimentary facials, hand and foot treatments from noon to 7 p.m. Saturday at its location inside Alchemy Works, 826 E. 3rd St., Los Angeles. Pop-ups

Puma and Kicks L.A. have teamed up on a World Cup-themed pop-up shop that’s to be open until July 20. The shop at Kicks L.A., 143 Larchmont Blvd., is designed to look like a soccer field and it contains Puma soccer apparel and footwear, along with limited-edition items. Events will include television viewing of some key World Cup games, soccer jersey screen-printing and special promotions.

Openings

Junk Food Clothing Co. is opening a flagship at 1103 Abbot Kinney Blvd. in Venice. The store plans a grand opening celebration from 7 to 10 p.m. Thursday with hors d’oeuvres, a bar and valet parking.
