Cate Blanchett is a vision on the red carpet in a Balenciaga classic
Don’t ever count Cate Blanchett out when it comes to the red carpet race.
On Monday night, Blanchett wore this dramatic blush pink gazar Balenciaga Edition ensemble to the premiere of Woody Allen’s new film “Blue Jasmine” at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
The ensemble (forget “outfit,” you gotta love an ensemble!) is actually a cape and dress hand-embroidered with delicate flowers.
And in case you were wondering, Balenciaga Edition is a capsule collection based on Cristobal Balenciaga’s original creations. *In this case, the French house’s new designer Alexander Wang chose to work with this design for Blanchett.
And on Blanchett, this ensemble is a forever classic.
