Rihanna adds bold new lip shades to her MAC Viva Glam collection

For the second year in a row, Rihanna is assuming the role of muse for MAC’s Viva Glam campaign. The new metallic mauve Viva Glam Rihanna Two shades are scheduled to debut in September, MAC announced via news release on Monday.

MAC initiated its Viva Glam campaign in 1994, with all proceeds from the collection going to help individuals affected by HIV/AIDS. Other celebrities who’ve been involved over the years include RuPaul, Lady Gaga, Cyndi Lauper. k.d. Lang, Ricky Martin and Nicki Minaj, among others.

The Rihanna Two collection consists of a lipstick in warm mauve with silver frost for $19 and a lipglass in cool mauve with red frost for $18.

The shades will go on sale online Sept. 8 and will be in stores from Sept. 11 until February 2015.

Rihanna’s original Viva Glam collection, in red, is also available.
