Halle Berry’s style through the years

Share

Halle Berry’s movie roles have included Bond girl and desperate mother, and she’ll soon be seen in CBS’ “Extant,” which debuts on July 9, as a pregnant astronaut. In terms of style, however, Berry has been consistently glamorous during years of red-carpet walks.

The Academy-Award winner (she received the Oscar for best actress in 2002 for her performance in “Monster’s Ball”) was “stunning in a silver Marchesa gown with champagne tulle applique at the hem of the skirt” at the 2011 Oscar ceremony. In 2003, she wore a baby blue “cloud of a dress” by wedding designer Reem Acra to the Golden Globes. She donned a taffeta skirt and burgundy tulle top embroidered with silk flowers by Elie Saab for the 2002 Oscars and a bronze beaded Valentino for the Golden Globes the same year. And in 1996, she appeared at the Academy Awards in a beautiful lilac town by Valentino.

During a recent red-carpet appearance, the premiere of “Extant,” Berry wore a Jenny Packham gunmetal metallic knit dress. The “hot mom,” Hollywood Life announced, “looked stunning while flaunting her assets.” Naturally, we’re eager to see her next choice for the red carpet.
