Kanye West garnered attention at Wednesday’s 12-12-12 benefit for Superstorm Sandy victims, not only for his performance but for the kilt-like skirt he wore. The skirt, from Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci, was part of the label’s fall 2012 menswear collection. [The Cut]

Sarah Burton, creative director of Alexander McQueen and designer of the Duchess of Cambridge’s fairy tale wedding gown, received an Order of the British Empire in ceremonies on Thursday at Buckingham Palace.
