Songstress and “The Voice” coach Christina Aguilera is talking about her weight ... again. In the Sept. 29 cover article for Billboard magazine, Aguilera revealed that while promoting her 2002 album “Stripped,” she “got tired of being a skinny, white girl.” Aguilera plans to embrace her current curves while promoting her new album Lotus, out next month. Funnyman Seth MacFarlane will host the next Academy Awards. Known for creating the series “Family Guy” and “American Dad” MacFarlane made his film directorial debut this year with “Ted.” No word on who will dress MacFarlane for the big night yet, but we’re guessing a bow tie of some sort will make an appearance. French crystal purveyor Baccarat has named James Taffin de Givenchy its new creative director. Givenchy is a New York-based high-end jewelry designer who owns the jewelry brand Taffin. [WWD] (subscription required).
