Beyonce riles PETA again. Mila Kunis dons McQueen at ‘Oz’ premiere

Beyonce has been running afoul of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals all year, at least. First there was her fur coat at the presidential inauguration. Then there was her Super Bowl costume, which used leather and exotic skins. Now it’s some custom-made PMK (Perfectly Made Kicks) wedge sneakers that incorporate ostrich, sting ray, anaconda and crocodile skins. “These custom-made kicks come with a high price and it’s paid by the various animals who were beaten and skinned alive or cruelly farmed and killed,” PETA said in a statement. Mila Kunis looked suitably bewitching in an Alexander McQueen gown at the London premiere of “Oz the Great and Powerful” on Thursday. Kunis plays a witch in the film due to open in the U.S. on March 8. [Just Jared]

Nicole by OPI has announced an out-of-the-cereal-box collaboration, which came to my attention via a news release. The nail polish company plans to produce three special shades for Special K in April as part of the cereal’s “show off your confidence with color” campaign. Shoppers can receive free full-size bottles by signing up for the Kellogg’s Family Rewards program and entering codes from specially marked boxes of Special K products, while supplies last.

Wojciech Inglot, a Polish chemist and cosmetics company executive who developed a porous nail polish that found favor among Muslim women who could wear it for daily prayers since it didn’t prevent water from reaching their nails during rites of required hand-washing, has died at age 57 of reported internal hemorrhaging.
