A ramen slurpfest, two cocktail events, plus Champagne and polo

If you like cocktails, ramen and fancy Champagne parties on polo fields, pay attention.

The Luckyrice Moon Festival Cocktail Feast is headed to Los Angeles for the first time on Oct. 2. The event will take place at Vibiana in downtown L.A. from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. and include sips from Cocktail Academy, Eveleigh, Sassafras Saloon, Seoul Sausage Co. and the Roger Room. Luckyrice is also bringing its Ramen Slurpfest to L.A. on Oct. 1. Ramen chefs from around the world will be at Millwick in downtown L.A. with bowls of ramen. Participating restaurants include Tsujita L.A. Artisan Noodle, Totto Ramen in New York City, New York, Ichicoro-Ya in Tampa, Florida, and Ramen Tatsu-Ya in Austin, Texas. There will be a Bombay Sapphire cocktail bar serving drinks throughout the evening. Tickets are $100 and can be purchased at www.luckyrice.com. 800 E 4th Pl., Los Angeles.

The All Star Mixology Competition benefiting Covenant House California is happening Wednesday at Skybar at Mondrian. 10 mixologists will showcase their skills for a team of judges. While the competition is happening, attendees can watch while sipping Moët and Chandon Champagne or cocktails by Ciroc, Lexington bourbon, rum Malecon, Somrus liqueur, Casa Nobles tequila, Jägermeister and Torres brandy. There will also be food provided by Herringbone restaurant. Veuve Clicquot is hosting its 6th annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic at Will Rogers State Historic Park Oct. 17. General admission tickets are $65. Fast pass tickets are available for $125 and include general admission, a Veuve Clicquot gift and fast pass line privileges. Rose garden tickets are available for $400 and include one bottle of Veuve Clicquot Rose and a gourmet picnic lunch from Wolfgang Puck Catering.
