Want a free burrito on Valentine’s Day? Just pucker up

If you’re planning on locking lips with someone special on Valentine’s Day, why not get a free burrito out of it?

Qdoba Mexican Grill is offering guests a special Valentine’s Day promotion on Saturday. If you buy one of the restaurant’s smothered burritos, then share a kiss with someone, you’ll receive a second smothered burrito for free.

The smothered burritos include a red chile version, made with a burrito smothered in red chile sauce; a smoky chipotle cream version; and a tangy verde burrito with a sauce made from tomatillos. On Thursday, Qdoba is also introducing a new smothered cheese sauce called savory queso.

If you think about it, there are worse things you can do to earn a free burrito. Much worse.

“Smothered for a Smooch is meant to be fun and a bit over-the-top, and both our guests and our team members have a lot of fun sharing the love at this event,” David Craven, Qdoba vice president of brand marketing, said in a statement.

The burrito chain notes the person you kiss should be a friend, family member or consenting stranger. So don’t kiss an unsuspecting stranger. Don’t even think about it.
