An effortless, one-button corkscrew

Share

Here’s a truly effortless corkscrew. You hold it over the cork, steadying the bottle with your other hand, and press a button for about 15 seconds -- bingo! A metal worm screws into the cork and pulls it out of the bottle. Press the button again and the worm divests itself of the cork. Although it’s not the quickest way to uncork, it requires no strength at all, and the manufacturer says it can open 40 bottles between battery charges.
