Farmshop wine dinner, Muddy Leek brunch, guest chefs at Yamashiro

Paso Robles goes to Farmshop: On Wednesday, starting at 5:30 p.m., Farmshop will pour wines exclusively from the Paso Robles wine country throughout dinner service. Reds and whites from Adelaida Cellars, Pomar Junction Vineyard & Winery, Cypher Winery, L’Aventure and Tablas Creek Vineyards will accompany a la carte items, such as Scottish salmon, California lamb osso buco and roasted jidori chicken, on the Brentwood eatery’s dinner menu. Brunch at Muddy Leek: Chef Whitney Flood and Julie Retzlaff, of Bon Mélange Catering, are now serving brunch at their new restaurant venture, Muddy Leek, in Culver City. Guest chefs at Yamashiro Hollywood: Yamashiro Hollywood is launching a guest chef series set to kick off March 12. Yamashiro’s executive chef Brock Kleweno will host local chefs such as the Rodriguez brothers and chef de cuisine Omar Borba of Los Balcones del Peru, scheduled to partake in the first installment of the dinner series. The dinner on March 12 will feature a five-course menu combining Peruvian and Asian flavors. Dinner costs $125 per person and will include wine pairings, tax and valet parking.
